Exams, Assignments, and Review Materials

Exams

There will be two exams during the semester.  Both the midterm and final will consist of a choice of essay and short answer questions. Either similar study questions, or the precise questions, will be handed out in class at least one week before each examination. The midterm will be announced in class by the instructor, while the final is scheduled by the College (see the Timetable).

Assignments
Required readings, to be prepared before each week’s discussion section, will be scheduled by the Teaching Assistant. In addition to the weekly readings, each student will complete a writing assignment, based upon reading mutually agreed upon by the student and the Teaching Assistant (see a list of suggested readings). The due date for this assignment will be given in discussion section.
